The agricultural ministry released a new strategy for Japanese agriculture in May 2021.
Its name is the Measures for achievement of Decarbonization and Resilience with Innovation.

The web site of the ministry says the strategy is affected by the EU agricultural strategy, named the Farm to Fork Strategy released in May 2020.
